This was a new concept to Sri Lankan women - taking turns with backrubs. They all laughed when they realized the ones who were scoring the free rub would soon have to do a 180 and switch sides. Sri Lankans are very warm and friendly people - always kissing both sides of the cheek as they greet each other. So this was very fun and comfortable for them.
